This 35 mm Kodachrome was taken on California State Highway One, just north of San Simeon. I took the photo right after dawn on a calm, clear Autumn morning in 1983. Years later I had the slide scanned onto a Kodak Photo CD, and I manipulated the image a little using Adobe Photoshop. The original image had a little twinge of red in the sky left over from the sunrise and I removed the red to give the image a more, “moonlit” appearance.
