Well, enough definitions. A good place to learn more about telemetry is in Dr. Stephen Horan's book, "Introduction to PCM Telemetering Systems" (ISBN 0-8493-4208-2). Another way to learn about telemetry is on the web and is called The Center for Space Telemetering and Telecommunications.To learn more about space and satellite based telemetry, check out the Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) Home Page. This site has all of the CCSDS Blue and Green books on-line, so you can down load what you want and read it later at your leasure. A great catch-all web page that points to a large number of telemetry related sites was put togehter by Premmco. And finally, if you want to read the telemetry "bible", check out the IRIG Standard 106-93, published by the Range Commanders Council. An on-line version of this document is available for download.
